Direct answer
Evaluate identity, stated supply-chain role and the quality of the proposed transaction record. Verify authorization claims independently and ask how uncertainty, traceability gaps and discrepancies are handled. A polished website or a list of manufacturer logos is not sufficient evidence.
Why this issue arises
Buyers may confuse a specialist’s product knowledge with manufacturer authorization or assume that a certificate covers every offered lot. These are separate questions. The useful assessment is whether the supplier can document what is being offered, what is supported by evidence and what remains unresolved.
Practical review checklist
Verify the business identity
Check the legal contracting name, business contacts, invoice details and payment beneficiary before a commercial commitment.
Ask about the supply role
Distinguish authorized distribution from independent sourcing. Request manufacturer confirmation for any claimed appointment.
Assess evidence by lot
Ask what source records, label photos, batch information and packaging details can be obtained for the actual offer.
Review exception handling
Agree what happens when a suffix, date code, packaging condition or inspection result differs from the accepted requirement.
Use a defined first requirement
Assess response accuracy and documentation against a small, controlled RFQ before relying on a critical production commitment.
Illustrative example — not a customer case
If a supplier lists KEMET, KYOCERA AVX and Vishay, ask which relationship is actually being claimed. Product coverage and an authorization appointment should be evaluated separately for each manufacturer.
Technical boundaries
A directory check alone does not authenticate an independently sourced lot. Certifications, if supplied, must be checked for validity and scope; they do not automatically prove product conformance. TantalumCore makes no manufacturer-authorization claim.
How TantalumCore can support
TantalumCore can clarify its sourcing scope and available evidence for a requested part. The operating legal entity and relationship with RuiReach remain pending confirmation on the company page.
